For our wedding we wanted a booklet like that for a number of reasons. We wanted to be able to send something to our family overseas that could not come (our Grandparents were all too frail to travel from their home countries) and we wanted to be able to share details about our wedding to everyone attending since we had a very unique ceremony incorporating many different cultural elements and ceremonies that they would have been unfamiliar with. The booklet gave us an opportunity to explain why we chose the elements that we chose and to share interesting facts about marriage ceremonies from all over the world.
